By using a unique combination of remote sensing, process-based models, and artificial intelligence, HabiTerre is able to scalably monitor, measure, and analyze global and local production and resource use efficiency, including impacts to soil carbon and GHG emissions, to support decisions around the use of land and water resources. This solution is being recognized for its ability to support market and value creation for sustainable agriculture from farm to buyers.
HabiTerre will compete in the Pitch Challenge at the beginning of February, pitching to a judging panel composed of representatives from Shell, THRIVE, John Deere and BASF. The winner will receive up to $100,000 in project funding, the ability to participate in Shell’s GameChanger Accelerator, and to present at the SXSW this March in Austin, TX.
