HabiTerre Welcomes Eamon Flood and Esteban Sanchez to Leadership Team

HabiTerre is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Seale as its new Ag Climate Standards Lead. Jeff brings a wealth of experience in ag technology, sustainability, global policy, and organizational leadership, making him a valuable asset to the HabiTerre team.

Jeff will be based in St. Louis and will work closely with HabiTerre’s product, science, and engineering teams to ensure that the company’s platforms remain rigorous, credible, and aligned with the goal of driving scalable adoption of regenerative agriculture. His expertise will be instrumental in developing strategies that support global efforts to limit warming to 1.5°C or less.

In addition to his internal role, Jeff will engage with policymakers and industry stakeholders to create practical, scalable guidance for agricultural climate initiatives. He will also work with HabiTerre’s partners to build programs aligned with global accounting and reporting standards, ensuring transparency and credibility in agricultural sustainability efforts.

Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, followed by postdoctoral training at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Texas Health Science Center.

With over 25 years of experience at Monsanto/Bayer, Jeff played a critical role in research and development, from discovery to commercial product launch and stewardship. He led the establishment of a high-throughput protein engineering site in Cambridge, MA, and spearheaded the scientific and accounting foundation for Bayer’s carbon business. He later transitioned into global policy, enabling agricultural carbon programs. Most recently, he served as Head of Climate Policy & Strategy at Regrow Ag, contributing to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Land Sector Removals Guidance and serving as an expert reviewer for the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). He has also presented at the UN Climate Conference.

HabiTerre is thrilled to welcome Jeff to the team and looks forward to his leadership in advancing agricultural climate solutions.
